Kelly Murphy

Kelly Murphy specializes in employee benefit plans (EBPs), financial statement preparation, and valuations. Her expertise in navigating the complex landscape of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Internal Revenue Code, and other pertinent legislation ensures clients receive guidance that is both comprehensive and compliant. Kelly's ability to administer diverse retirement plans meets stringent tax and regulatory standards and aligns perfectly with each client's objectives.

 

Kelly's technical skills are matched by her dedication to building lasting, productive client relationships. She emphasizes transparent, clear communication and proactive support, enabling her clients to make well-informed decisions. This approach enhances the functionality and effectiveness of plans for employers and employees alike, marking her as a trusted advisor in her field.

 

Outside of work, Kelly's life is filled with enthusiasm for volleyball, as she and her husband are avid supporters of their two daughters, both on and off the court. Her passion also extends to cheering for the Atlanta Braves, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and spending joyful moments with their dogs. In her community, Kelly actively contributes as the current Treasurer for the Santa Rita Middle School Athletic Booster Club. Her past community involvement includes her role as the Treasurer for the Arts Council of Midland from 2014 to 2016, an engagement that earned her the Flying Monkey Volunteer of the Year Award.

 

A graduate of Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Kelly holds several esteemed certifications, including Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA).
